On 26–27 November 2025, AMS and the REHOUSE project consortium convened in Xanthi, Greece, for its 7th General Assembly, hosted by the Democritus University of Thrace (DUTh). The meeting brought together partners from across Europe to review progress, align on objectives and upcoming actions, and strengthen collaboration on holistic building renovation solutions.
The two-day event featured in-depth sessions on project advancements, including the digital tools (e.g. the digital building logbook which includes digital twins, building passports etc), for data integration, demonstration of the innovative renovation packages, and market pathways for sustainable solutions. Technical discussions covered impact assessment, business models, and replication strategies. A dedicated session highlighted progress at demonstration sites in Italy, France, Greece, and Hungary.
On the second day a visit to the local demo site to the demo site on the University campus and the Heron park were showcasing the different approaches implemented in the students dormitories.
Besides the work on the progress the partners enjoyed a guided tour of Xanthi’s historic city center to several Byzantine Greek churches and neoclassical buildings of Greek merchants from the 18th and 19th centuries and Ottoman-Era mosques.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Greek hospitality and the warm welcome from our colleagues at DUTh.
